Quite an interesting castle. There is the bloody chapel so called after one of the O' Carroll Elys hacked to death his brother, priest, at the altar. A light is said to illuminate the chapel for an instance according to some travelling the road by the castle. An oubliette where prisoners were cast down was found to contain two cartloads of skeletons. A red robed female with a hand raised over her head, her figure seemingly lit from within, has reported woken guests unlucky enough to sleep in a particular room. An odd smelling element part human, part beast is the strangest of the ghosts. It passed into the Darby family who provided another spectral occupant in the form of the 'wild captain' Darby who wandered the castle maddened at being unable to find a treasure he concealed. A bricked up room with several skeletons and underground tunnels are just a few more of the wonders of this castle.

Maybe if some castles are witness to misfortune maybe there could be a ghost or two to haunt them. Perhaps if someone is playing on Halloween a ghost or two could haunt one or two of the castles in addition.
