We have a thread about football, about ice hockey, I think also about basketball.
So, here is one general thread about all the types of sports!

I'll start with volleyball:
In the World League of volleyball for men, in the qualifications we defeated Egypt, Korea and Cuba (the latter being a strong team). In the groups in the beginning we "humiliated" Brazil, world and olympic champions, winners in the last three years, with 3:0. Then we beat Serbia and Montenegro again with 3:0 and got qualified for the semi-finals. And today we defeated with 3:0 Italy - the European champion! A new volleyball power is rising!...

Bulgaria defeated Cuba!! Wow, cuba has always been a strong volleyball team. Well this were just qualification matches, hopefully we will get stronger:wink: Go Cuba:biggrin:

Yes, Cuba was in the qualifications (although the race was pretty hard and only in the last game we left Cuba second). Now it's the groups of the World League (I think in Moscow), where we beat Brasil, Serbia and Italy!
Moryarity, World Championship in Japan, but in what? Volleyball or some other sport?

Strange, I wanted to start this thread few days ago.
Anyway, it's 2:1 for us against France now, but we have no chance to get to the semi-finals anymore...

Anyone watching waterpolo European Championship? We steam-rolled over the teams in our group, but we'll see once we face the Hungarians, hopefully in the final.
