Honestly no I don't think so, Orthodox didn't amuse themselves with "heatens" but more how would they get more teritory from their christian brothers. :D

The Teutonic Knights and Templars will be both infantry units. But it was no decision to ignore you guys. This has been done since a long time ago. But we read the arguments and consider them in the future...
It's okay now. I don't mind it. Thanks Frank for final decision showed (I expected it).
However I will still like Templars on a horse, I changed my mind in this case and don't wanna insist on it in any way. Maybe some kind of KoH2, where accent will be on special mounted units.
If wou would change it now it would require change of whole unit system of KoH what is too late to do now.

I hope too. There are only 2 regular units left. I am looking forward to see what types are waiting for us. You already know what we are waiting for. Is at least half of them mentioned in pour discussions?

nice to see that the champions were replaced by knights, although they cant afford any horses! poor knights. shall we open an account for charity donations? :dwink:

instead we got crusader units. hmmm, i would trade them off all against mounted knight orders... :(
I understand you, but I also understand devs, so not so important now. If crusader cavalry will be available also in some parts of Europe and will liik like templars, I won't mind it.
If they will be only in middle east, then my favourite kingdom is gonna be Jerusalem instead of Bohemia :)

What's the problem of having crusaders units??? If Im not wrong, the cavalry of the Special Orders were very similar (if not EQUAL) to each other, and to all the mounted knights that went to fight for the Holy Land. So I think it is a good idea having a common Crusader Cavalry. (After all, aren't they all the same?)
Also in this way you are not letting out the other mounted knights that went to Outremer. I mean knights of other less famous Orders and the HUGE QUANTITY of nobles and mounted warriors that didn't belong to any of them, like the mounted knigths of the first Crusade. THE ORDERS OF TEMPLARS AND THE HOSPITALIERS WEREN'T CREATED YET (don't know about the teutons), but of course there were a lot of crusaders on horses ;). And I think that they really deserve their place in the game.
So! Good for the Crusader Cavalry!

And also, some days ago we didn't expect nothing about some new european units related to the crusades. How many of us though that we would have to content with the Feudal Knights in the role of the Crusaders' Cavalry???
And now we have not only the Crusader Cavalry but also the Crusader Infantry and the Crusader Crossbowmen.
So I think that we've not lost, instead we've won!

thats it. i cant see the difference between crusader knights and feudal knights, crusader crossbowmen and crossbowmen. (what the hell is crusader infantry :confused: ) crusader knights were feudal knights in reality, just with a cross on their clothes and nothing left to lose...
i can see more differences between feudal knights and order knights.
i feel crusader units are just to fill up amount of units, but are of no advantage. but ey, its my opinion, not a fact :cheers:

I tghink crusader cavalry won't look like feudal knights and will be some 150 years earlier, so looking very close to Templars or Normans. Like you, timurlenk I see no difference between crusader infantry and crosbowmen to normal crosbowmen and Men-at-arms. But the diference will be IMOin localization of those units-they'll be (I think) outre-mer (oversea) units for christians available in Middle east and Africa ;) but that's my interpretation.

OK, I won't talk about crusader infantry and crossbowmen because in fact I would be inventing :p . Maybe they have stronger moral or are some kind of upgraded units. But who knows the real difference? (apart of dress which can be a cool difference) or what is in the minds of the devs?? I think we just have to wait to find out about those units.
But about Crusader Cavalry...
Maybe it is like this:
You see the difference between Order Knights and Feudal Knights....
But can you see the difference between Order Knights and Crusader Knights?
