Axes is fine, if the units are not elite (though I doubt they will be), so axes are fine.
But I highly recommend larger shields.

Yes. Larger shields, maybe made of iron, too. And beards. I thought all vikings had beards, at least most of them. It was like a tradition.
But I knew that not all of them had horns on their helmets... but I thought some of them had... it's kinda legend which is told everywhere. But maybe the horns come from Wickie, a cartoon series with a smart little Viking-child. They all had horned helms :D

lol people will recognise them easyer they propobl y came yp with the idea because horns would scare them in a battle when they are seen from far away just as england uses the huge furry black hats to look bigger from far away, or at least i think thats why tehe just a thought
