How do you use maps?

I downloaded a map from the German forum, however I place it in the maps/multiplayer/ directory and it doesn't show up in the game.

What do you do to activate them?

Normally it will appear in the game, i've tried it a lot of times and it worked, but you must be sure that you have copied it in teh wright directory!
