Is it possible to change the speed of time/day cycle through the editor so that it can be customized on a map?

I tried doing this even through the main .cfg file but it looks it screws out the game synch (units warping back and forth).

Other things I tried to figure out and failed is how to set up a "always neutral" base in a deathmatch map. Like a tribe always driven by AI that is set in defensive mode.

And finally I was trying to see if it was possible to have more control over the ground textures. For example in Warcraft 3 editor you can set a random "variation" or pick the exact texture you want tu use on the tile. In Paraworld it seems everything is automated, you only pick one of the eight texture types, but you cannot manually adjust the variations within a set.

As I said in the other thread, the day/night cycle is hard-coded. I'll the the rest of the questions up for one of the level desgners. ^^

The ground textures are indeed automated. There are special changes that occur if a larger area is painted in the same material.

I'm not sure if it is possible to set a neutral AI base into a multiplayer map. Maybe you could try to design a 3-player map, give a hint that the third playerslot should be occupied by an ai player and switch the diplomacy to neutral by using a trigger. But I am not sure wether this would work or not.
