Something about the multplayer mode not working properly? Can't connect to other players? Then this is the right place to post about that.

General hints:

If you've got VMWare, VPNs or several network cards installed in your system, you may have a hard time finding other games in the internet. In this case you should assign the highest network priority to the connection you're actually using to access the internet. In order to do that:

Open System Properties
Open Network Connections
Open the Advanced menu and choose Advanced Settings
Select the connection/device you're using to access the internet
Use the arrow buttons to move it up in the priority list

If you have trouble accessing games of other players and your computer is behind a router or a firewall - the following ports need to be open for Gamespy and connections to dedicated servers to work properly:

TCP 1177
TCP 28910 (LAN)
UDP 27900
UDP 27900
UDP 27901
UDP 29910
UDP 45000
UDP 45010
UDP 56000-65000

In some cases there may be nosy anti-virus tools or firewalls causing trouble. You have to either configure them properly then or disable them to test if the connectivity is working then.

What we'd like to know/have:

Is there any kind of error message? Post it or take a screenshot if possible.
Are you using a router/firewall?
What kind of hardware and drivers are you running? The easiest way would be attaching your DXDiag info to your post. In case you don't know how to get ahold of this information: Windows Start menu -> Run -> enter dxdiag and confirm -> let the tool run and then choose Save All Information.
In case of connection problems: did you only try to play via Gamespy or do you also have trouble connecting the dedicated servers (http://www.myskulls.com/en/serverlist/)?
In case anything strange happened during a multiplayer match: which map didn you play? Which settings did you use? How many players participated? Did you play via Gamespy or dedicated servers?
