A unit's not doing what it's supposed to do? An upgrade's not working? Here's the right place to details the problem!

Don't know if this really counts, but I got the full game (finally!) and I was enjoying playing the missions and such with no problem. Then, I decide to play a skirmish game. Problem. Whenever I start a skirmish game, no matter what tribe I pick, no matter what units they have, no matter what map it is on, they automatically die. The second I start it up, all of them drop dead, except one worker (and in the dustriders case, the resource collector survives as well). I would really like an answer to this problem, as once I complete the missions, I would like to be able to play the single player skirmish maps.

Sounds to me like your presets have the wrong value. Are you using the presets you had in the demo? Please delete all your presets and try again. If that does not work then please reinstall the game and try again :)

Yeah, the demo was the problem, so I uninstalled it. Unfortunantly, it also made it so I hadn't completed any of the challenges. Then, the game all together stopped working. I reinstalled it, and now it works fine, but I would like it if I could get back to the mission I was on, without having to complete them all over again.

And if you are running into the same problem and can't check Alpha
Dilophosaur's PM inbox for the 'fix', check this thread (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?t=11201), the last post
has a solution.

Hi, this is probably the stupidest question, but here it goes. I'm on mission3, have settled on 2 islands, with stone quarries and foresters, but the workers try to go back to the main base with their materials, which doesn't work, of course, or they end up getting attacked.

I've looked in the forums but didn't find anything.

One more question: is it really necessary to delete the demo?? I started with the demo, then it was nice to just continue once i bought the full game.

We don't really recommend having the demo and the full version installed at the same time as some settings conflict may occur. However, in case you decide to uninstall the demo, make sure to make a back-up of your savegames and your profile file (see here (http://www.sek-ost.de/stuff/data_en.html)) or else they might get lost during the process.

As for your other problem - you happen to have a savegame file at hand?

Thanks Julian,

OK, I'll try to save my games, then delete the demo. No big deal, I'm only on level 3, and I would like to try to get better points on level two anyway. :-) I guess that was all explained in the manual that I didn't read??

Oh, and I'll try to send you a saved game. This is all really stretching my computer ability, but I like it. :-)

One more question: how do I get a marketplace??

THANKS for all your help. Despite comments from others to the contrary, I find the support here excellent.

Hi Julian,

I'm so proud of myself, I found my saved games. :hello: Umm... how do I send it to you? Sorry for the stupid questions!

In the campaign the techtree is restricted and you may get marketplaces from level 3 on, but only after you got that marketplace sidequest. In multiplayer and skirmish games the marketplace is normally available from epoch 3 on.

Hi Julian, the computer nob here again. I looked all around, but I couldn't find anything that said it was a demo version of pW. ??

Hi Julian,

One guy who wasn't gathering stone like he should I just killed, and the next guy learned from the example. :-) The last guy not collecting stone, must just be that wimpy guys don't want to collect stone? Maybe he's waiting for me to open up a library?? Anyway, I built him a farm, and he seems happier, let's see what happens. ;-)

Hi Julian,

I solved the marketplace problem, thanks. I was just looking for a new building... duhhh. I don't have the demo, at least I couldn't find it! AND, now I've got mission 3 done. Mission 4 workers are just standing around!

You get a medal for helping me out so much!
