Hm, perhaps the devs didn't like the idea that villages, farms and monastries build themselves?
Perhaps he will roam the provinces and have his people construct these things (depending on his skill). But well, no one of us knows...
I never noticed that we have a release-date...

Hey, I found something in the german Forum:
The growth of the city-population, since to the max. numer can been ifluenced by the builder. How more experience the builder has, as faster regenerates the population when you train a squad of soldiers from them.
A knight who is a builder, gives the relam a bonus for everything who has something to do with building/enlarge. Also, the building-time is shorter.
And a "farmer"(is this the landlord?) makes that the birth-instalment is bigger or more food get produced.
If you conquer the relam, the knight who governs the relam get catched and you can claim money for him, you can lock him up(and claim money later) or "convert" him to your side.
EDIT: But I don't know if something that I wrote is correct so, or if it's even understanable...: It would be the best if Frank or Frujin give an answer to this...
Land lord is IMO former Governor. That's great that he can be "converted to ourside :)
Is there in german forum, clear if a builder travels or is only in one realm? If he travels, what about elargement of 9 knights' court?
So did I understood it well? builder improves fastness of building and regeneration of population?
What Land lord do then? is a judge :)?
THANKS, Kuno

I help where I can and if I have time...:D
I don't know, but I think that landlord and builder don't come in the list of the nine, I think it's not logical, because how biger your relam is than more landlords and builders you need I suppose...
It's not clear if he travels or not, but I think he has only a number of relams which he "owns" and he doesn't travel troug the hole country, but I don't know...
edit: I supose, landlord is the "farmer"...

I thought that "Builder" or "Farmer" are just the governor-skills...
I think we are in a serious need of information ;) .

The Builder, Landlord, Cleric and Merchant can "govern" a province. Landlord and Builder only, but Cleric and Merchant can other things.
However, depending on their profession they give bonusses to the province. A builder (depending on his level of experience) incluences construction / upgrade times and a landlord gives bonuses to the population birthrate. Just as two examples.
You see, governing is now a task, not a profession anymore.
so, can I aks?
can a player appoint his knight as Builder f.e. in realm of Bohemia. During that government of a Builder, Bohemia will grow faster than if it is governed by f.e. Cleric.
So after that grow, can a player call that Builder off and appoint some other knight as Landlord or Cleric or Marshall there instead and "transfere" that Builder somewhere else?
I hope it is understandable

Will they be included in the 9 knights in the 'knight-bar'?
If they are, the bar would be pretty stuffed. If they are not, we don't have a clue on how they are managed then...

Angryminer probably they are. See this screenshot (http://www.pcgames.de/external/browser/?article_id=311140&image_id=405520) which I found here (http://www.pcgames.de/index.cfm?article_id=311140)
offtopic, but concerning this preview: what about 3d map? can you tell us something in english (if there's no 3d map, I'm sorry for my bad translation-or better my PC translator translation :D)

you have 9 slots for 9 Knights but the composition for the duties is by your style of play....
Thanks, Frank fay. I wanna ask one more thing, now about traders.
On screenshot with Iraklis-Crete, we can see Polish trader (one of 9knights in slots-the one with gold frames) He has Hungarian coat below and also something like scroll. Does that mean he signed trade-agreement with Hungary?
2. about diplomacy here. On screenshot political view (http://www.knights-of-honor.net//english/screenshot.php?screenshot=0125&all=0125|0124|0123|0122|0121|0120|0119|0118|0117) there we can see some diplomatical actions, don't we?
A ring just right of bottom of kings face probably means marriage?
Pigeon probably means peace?
two knights? does it mean alliance?
two swords-non attacking pact?
scroll-some diplomatic treaty or agreement?-which?
