my poll was clear enough. This is exactly what i had, whats the difference?
Oh i see, NOTHING

Step 1: Read the other thread. You have been told that before. From the discussion there, it should be plain and obvious to anyone why that poll was confusing and why this one was opened up (Hint: Try to find the word patch in this one. See? Aaaaaaaaah!).

Step 2: Realize that you're alone with your opinion and that your flaming will have no result at all - apart from you making a joke of yourself.

Step 3: Having realized that, cut the spam/flame.

Step 4: Try to understand that nobody cares about who started a thread or a poll. You seem to be the only one to connect your personal ego with that. The fact that your poll is now closed and this one is up doesn't damage our respect for you. However, you'll get there if you continue to act that childishly.

Step 5: Go on with your life and enjoy the autumn sunshine.

A great big Yes! :go:

It's just wrong not to want and or have a multiplayer campaign/world option.

It's also the same with similar games (can't recall the names but I'm sure you all know which they are  ), they have the campaign mode for solo play only, when there is clearly most of the production gone into it, yet no chance to play against others.

People don't play these games for the wonderful skirmish battles, we play it to raise an empire, manage it and go to war with armies we raised ourselves not simply chosen for the batttle.

There are people asking the ai to be fixed so it can be harder, more intelligent which would be great and it does need work to be a real challenge. A lot of people would ask less of the ai if we could just fight real people because the ai would still serve it's purpose to control the multitude of other empires not under a persons control. The other players posing the real challenge. No matter how good you make the ai a person will always find more cunning tactics and strategies to overcome it.

It would be great to have the full world of the game in multiplayer but obviously if it couldn't be done, people would still take a reduced map/states/provinces over nothing.

when you are a developer and you want your products to be played, the best things you can do are:

1. add a variety of multiplayer modes, so we can play forever.

2. add a user friendly editor so modders can enlarge KoH's future.

yes I want a multiplayer campaign, in the patch if it is possible.

As an experiment, it could at first be implemented for only two players, with the tactical battle playable only between the two human players (but not between human and AI factions)
just an idea... sorry if not original

or, further implementation, this could be expanded to x players if you remove the possibility of tactical battles at all

Well as it stands now you would not have to only allow it between the human players.

The system already allows you to particpate in a tactical battle as the world continues so long as you have 'pause in battles' switched off. This would present a challenge to the players, making them decide whether to command the battle themselves or let the marshal take care of it due to pressing matters in the world.* An especially hard choice if it's an important battle and your troops are not especially suited to handling it themselves, advanced tactics can turn a lot of battles in this game.

Of course allowing the game to still be paused during tactical battles should still be an option in a 1 v 1 world but like you said, tactical battles would have to be limited to the players in such a case.

Everything suggests the campaign shoulda had multiplayer, guess it missed it's deadline

There would also be no need for a 'handicap' system as starting in a weaker/stronger state would allow for this, right now when you start a new game there is a lot of random generation for starting buildings/resources which could pose a problem though. Although an editor would solve this, allowing the community to make maps for any situation, from tournament to biased.

*I'd also suggest this to any advanced people looking for a harder game versus the ai :go:

one..:admin_censored:... and two cuz evrthing else i didnt mention.if they do make multiplayer campaign mode,i'd really like to see that cuz having diplomacy between real ppl is way more annoying and frustrating then dip. with PC-AI so its would be really fun.plus if you had multiplayer campaign mode ppl can play in more of a diverse area of the game if you know what I mean cuzthey all do the same thing, build, ask a few things here and there, then go to war!. but if you have several ppl in campaign everyone could be doing diffrent things plus in regular multiplayer everyone wana be on the player whos best team cuz then they cant lose.but if your playing campaign there could be a 2-x amount of kingdoms allianced together against the really awesome guy and he'd be wiped off the face of multiplay. KoH.they should have a map editor for the battles where you can like make and transfer maps and play with them like instead of regualr fortified camp why dont they also have palisade walls.thats just my opinion plus id like to see a free for all battle in the multiplayer where there are more than just 2 teams but like a multiple team like thing plus they should make the diplomacy more.......deep if you know what i mean.like when you trade with someone with merchant you just get the resource but id want it to be so that when they want the resource that you can decide on a price annually for them to purchase it and have you ever played:angry: cuz i hate how its just too unrealistic stuff.plus there should be like a"call up town malitia thingy"where you can spend a low amount of money and decrease the towns economy for a while but get a few squads of crummy worse then peasants(but larger then it) unit of wierd malitai.and more "in unit variety" cuz all of them are like clones, i mean in the medieval ages they dont have cloning machines where you dump in a man at arms and suddenly a squad of men at arms comes out if that was real like wtf?.and once again sorry for the rude stuff to:dobber which is now in my mind a very nice respected person on these forums

almost exactly my opinion about this:

A multiplayer could work easily if the "pause during battle" is automaticaly off.
So you have great choice!
Your territorty is invaded by army of an enemy who has weak city right behind a corner. If you lead the battle yourself you have much higher chance of victory than to leave the battle to AI (especialy if your player oppnent leads the battle himself). But you have great oportunity to sacrifice one marshal and one battle (where your opponent is trapped) and to invade that weak province and conquer it and then go back to defend your lands from enemy invasion.

I think this is not that hard to make it. And the first game that offers such multiplayer (and say it loud to the entire gaming world) will cause a revolution and becomes Best-seller!

oh, as there is revival of KoH, I'd like to revive also several polls, this among them

Good call?? On your own poll you branded people as idiots because they voted against multiplayer

Please do not try to start an argument about things which can be cleared personally and in peace!

Of course it is not nice to call people idiots who vote against the own opinion, but I doubt kevin wanted to attack anyone personally.

hey, Syagrius, take it easy, right?

Multiplayer adds much to the replayability of the game. If you don't like it, it's your choice. There's no need to call anyone an idiot (as I said also to Kevin)

He asked people to reason their votes and used bad words for it. You can disagree with him, but there's no reason to start flaws against him everywhere you see him posting :go:
And if it is a reason, then be ready to face the consequences (I'll report posts of both of you and the mods will do their job!)

not in the other thread. but why the hack here?

anyway, is there a reason to argue about it?

yeah, interesting last posts

in topic again, exactly as said above by Baneblaze and quoted by Elvain, the "pause in battle off" button should always be OFF during multiplayer, and there we are.

I believe that KoH system is the only mixed strategic/tactical who would allow the online campaign. All the other turn-based campaign RTS-strategic systems cannot compete with it. You know how long, and how many total war players are asking since SHOGUN (six, seven years ago) for a multiplayer campaign. Creative Assembly will never do it , because it won't be fun with that system...

and if KoH would have one.............
