Here (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?s=&threadid=63) Frujin said Yes ... as an Answer to the question posted by BLOODUK
Will we be able to have moats?? with a drawbridge that goes up and down.
We saw some moat in the screenshot.

Now the new question from german site:
will a moat have a bearing on a battle?
Are there troops, able to bypass a moat for example by filling it up?
And wich troops can bypass a moat?

Sounds Cool,

What about gates when a castle dosen't have a moat, does the gate open and close as well ?.

Will we be able to squish the enemy, like you could with gates
in AOE II ?.

Kind regards

Hi, just curious,
does that mean all castles have a bridge entrance of some sort ?.
Kind regards, and have a nice day,

Hmmm? Does all this mean, if we accidently fire on the drawbridge, then there is no way we can storm the castle with a moat?

Of course you can assault the fortress with ladders and siege towers over the moat.

May ropes...? :D
