I don't really see them giving the English version twice the playtime as the German. And another bit of info, the playtime can be even shorter than 90 minutes, it ended with me at around 60 minutes the other day. There is also a cutoff point at reaching 500 citizens.

what's the deal w/ fileplanet? i keep getting the run-around about downloading. all i want is that the button labelled "download now" actually starts a download. does anyone have a link to an actual download, please?

doubt it, it says in software it's named German Demo. But I would do it anyway, don't need it anymore

They install into folders with different names, so I think you will be okay to not uninstall the German one if you are not wanting to.
