With lots of friends:) :D :)
I think we'll have to have nice long "talk" with the webmaster about this peasant issue.... ( muhahaha )
I'm glad they have returned, because eventhough people probably won't use'em that much - they could still be the last defence against an invading army - or used in combination with mercenaries.
Now, the only think which is missing in the unitlist is the SIEGETOWER !!!!

Good to hear that they are back!:)
To the siege tower: So I thought right that he was in once, I wasn't sure, so I didn't say anything. But now I do: Where is the Siege Tower? :D :scratch:
Can somebody find more information concerning these towers. Because I can't imagene a tower being transported around just for a siege. Of course, I'm a layman in medieval history, so have much to learn. Were these towers frequently used? Didn't the mud around the castles proove impassable for the towers?

It depends on how wide the moat is !
I also think that siegetower would have transported in small parts to the place where it was needed and then assembled or they, provided they had the time, would have constructed one on-site.

You are right @Henrik, they build them "on stage".
About the peasants, they are good units to start a revelion and to win a land or a crown. :king:
i'm very happy for the return of peasants and the new units!!!! :D
i don't understand very well the absence of siege towers, but, in my opinion, there is absolutely a good reason!
i hope in final release siege towers will be, because i think they are very important for sieges... in every film with medieval battles around a castle, there are siege towers!!!

yes, there are also horns on vikings' helms as well as floating swords, wristwatches on hands and telegraph poles round the dusty roads :)

I think siege towers should exist, but if they in some way spoil the gameplay... I prefer them off the road

How could siegetowers in any spoil gameplay
I also think that we need to hear from the devs. regarding the siegetower - whether it will be in or not !
I'd like to have siege towers as well ,but weren't siege towers mainly used in the ancient period?.
not only. Middle ages too, but not in such numbers. It was not obviously used, but when siege was very long, gsieging army sometimes built one, but not more. It required quite lot of wood..

If it took a lot of wood to construct one, then this should also be the case in KoH ! - right !

Right!, cos how to assault a fortress with or without moat if there aren't siege towers. ¿Only with ladders or breaking walls?
