I saw the units showcase and i spotted that you couldn't produce every unit anywhere so i'm wandering if there will be special units for every region????

In a short answer: yup, but not for all regions. Only the most important regions/nations will have special units.
Use the search engine to find more infos. ;)

no, of course not. there are a lot of nations and even more regions. if every little region would have a special unit, it would be a bit much and the developers must also invent some new ones.
example: in the holy romam empiire, sachsonia can deliver teutonic champions, but bavaria can only give you standart units.
(just an example!)

by the way i think that there should be as much units as possible because that would make the game longer enjoyable.

I dont agree. It would be nice thats true, but for example, I am almost sure that I will operate with the basic units propably. Normal swordsman / archers / knights are the best with a good strategy! :D
[Special units will cost more, because of the game balance, that is for sure.]

there will be typical units of the "western wolrd" and typical units of the "arrabic world" plus special units we are talking about and plus the siegeunits. so i think its enough.
a couple of months ago the amount of units was much smaler, they anlarged it cuase lot of poeple have complined about it. but i think the amount of units is ok now.

I think they went a bit far. Some new units are unesscesary. Some units are missing to me like Macmen, Slingers and such.

SHHHHH More is better! And also it makes it more real!
:D
If you want more units, them the answer is ADDING not replacing!!!
Replacing would have been the answer 15 years ago! In the times when games had as a maximum number powers of 8!
Welcome to the age of the hundreds of megabytes!

I am a person who loves perfection. Imperfection like double and similar units pisses me off. Boooo... :D

Ignore me.... :p

hahaha! all right!

But they are not that similar! They may help to simulate the Medieval diversity. For example the Turkish Swordman... Not all men at arms or heavy swordmen looked the same! :)

Well the thing is that Janissaries were Turkish Swordsmen. They were Turkish versatile infantry. ;)

Yup...we can say that. But they were also archers. I would say a weaker combined archer/swordsman.
Propably the normal turkish swordsman & archers will be specialized in one weapon in the game, -the sword and the bow-, thus they will be better with it.
The Janissaries will be mediocre "jack of all trades" units propably.
