Hi

I've some questons to the start of the game:

1. You don't have any knights already, do you?
2. Do you have already enemies and allies?
3. What's with the royal family, only a young king who is searching a woman, or already married and father?
4. I guess the relam is health, so that you don't have to save it from hunger and empty treasure-boxes. (Or is this a thing which depends of the difficulty?)
5. How is it with soldiers, are there already any of them?

That's it for thge moment

Thanks for answers

good questions :go:, but I think only devs can answer tis. We can speculate without any basic information what is IMO absolutely pointless

so, devs?

I'd say that we should use the "tactic" we always use - ie. let's have some wilde guesses, because this always seem to draw Frank's attention :D and he simply can't help himself, so he will eventually give us a statement - so come on guys this "tactic" has worked so well for us before and i'll bet it also works this time ;)

Wild guesses...hmm...

Ok, what's with the following solution:

All this is a manual decide, so if you start the game, it also starts a secret connection to Bulgaria. And there in the offices of BSS are some guys who always decide how this player in Sweden, this player in France and the one in the USA start. All is "hand work".

[:D ] (I know, I'm silly:silly: )

But serious, I supposed this:

1. No knights
2. A question of the difficulty
3. random
4. Also a question of the difficulty
5. I think there are some small troops in the towns.

@Kuno of Gersenau - now, this "dicease" has a name - it's called paranoia :D :D :D

you know nothing guys
in fact bss is an international secret society of
computer geniuses with apocalliptic views
and want to create a computer game
which makes everybody a brainless zomby
(it is not that difficult for most of us after all)
and thus creating the undefeatable army
of humanoid mutants of Doctor X
bound to sweep over the whole planet
worse than plague brainless than me

that is why there is no game
it seems so great only becouse they are pretending to make it
in fact they are just completing their experiments
and in september we will face the apocalipse
when you start the game you will be hypnotized
and thats all no more fun for mankind

and yes this disease has a name
its called LSD trip

4zzy may I ask you why do you write in such a peculiar style...it's almost like poetry. :D :p

well you will defenatly have units in it. Peasents are counted as units. Also your town will have a few town guards. IF you do start with a knight they come with body guards. For town health i gess you start with it in the middle not the best but also not the worst.

the game could also start like this: After you've selected what "nation" you will play as, then the first thing which happens is that three knights or more appear at you court to offer their services, then you can choose between them and pick those which will suit you gaming style best - but i could be wrong ;)

Yea, Henrik. Good idea. In the beggining of game you court is empty, but some knights will come there just when you start and each of them will have some of your kingdom-specific units (f.e. 1 squad +1 squad of his own guards)

If no kingdom specific unit, so province specific unit of your main realm

no town garrisons, because you need to build up some town levels to make town guards available.

the I think that player should have some basic relations pre-defined in the beggining, but it will depend on difficulty. f.e. Lithuania in the late period:
easy difficulty: hostility with the Teutonic order
hard dif: war with the TO

Brought me to a sixth question, will the level of the towns at the start be the same for all provinces? I think (hope) not...

I think it would be a fair bet to assume that in the early period lot of the towns will have a very low level with only a few well-upgraded cities and this would be the quite opposit in the late period where many cities will be very large and well fortified - the "middle period" - well it will have cities inbetween ie. some strong while others are weak ( underdeveloped)

Yeah, this sounds logic. I think also that it should be so, that the towns who were the big to this time should have a higher level.

F.ex.: Constantinople should have a higher level than Bern (if it's in).

that is exactly how it will be...:)

And...ehm...what is with my other questions to the start...?(sorry for my impatience)
