I have seen a screenshot where you could choose your nation and the epoch (early middle-ages, high middle ages and late middle ages.) Now my question is: Will there be different nations in the different epochs? In reality germany for example was united as the holy roman empire some time in the middle ages, but before that it was only different nations like bavaria and hessia etc.
Yea, in each time period (early, high and late middle ages) you can choose from different number of different "nations"-kingdoms.
In the early f.ex. it's known that there will be smaller number of kingdoms than in the late period.
There are also few threads about this topic:
One about namingGermany vs. Holy Roman Empire (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?s=&threadid=837)
and also many others about nations, f.ex. What nations can you play? (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?s=&threadid=88)
They're quite long to read, but I hope you'll find there some new info.
