I played for 10 minutes on max settings and it ran fine, then it went incredibly laggy, I looked at my page file usage with taskmanager and it said 3.01 gig page file usage !!! so I exist the game and it's still stuck on 2.45. That's ridiculously high and there is no way I could possibly be using more than 250 mb. Does this mean I have to restart computer every 15 minutes to play again?
My specs:
asus an8 sli
am8 64 3200
Corsair 4 gig memory ( CMX1024-3200C2PT x 4)
nvidia 6800 gt pci e

If there are no viruses or junk programs installed on your computer then probably so. That really ****s then, there's better be a patch. The American games are always better coded than the European games.
Hi pontypool
try Windows Memory Diagnostic (http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp) to check your RAM
if you can't find a solution, please post your dxdiag.txt into code tag

I think max settings are too high for your system. What happens if you reduce to normal settings?

Are there maximum specifications aswell as minimum?
I think my computer is fine, because other than this one incident it plays maximum settings with no lag at all. I can run the game just fine for an undefined amount of time and then this happens completely randomly. First time it happend after 15 minutes second time it happend after 2 hours. So If it was the fact my computer isn't up to max settings that wouldn't be logical.
