Being a good player doesnt mean being able to build super fast and rush your opponents, winning is pointless unless both sides have fun. Sorry matey, but if i want to play the 'best' players i won't even be looking in your direction. Slow down and play the whole game. Play the idea of it...:eek:

Well my Friend.... we may not be the "Very Best" in the world but we are damn close to it, and as far as your statement that we are "Far from it" well i guarantee that we can mop the floor with you in any aspect of the game. We can play slow but the point of games is to WIN. The demo only allows you to do this militarily or to get to 500 citizens, and we can do both faster than you. Even in the full game version the winner is who ever gets to a set parameter FASTEST. So as stated before... IF you want to play the Best players log in and lets see what you got.

We can play any game style, but we find the game is most interesting with what's called "competition". Sorry that we don't play your game style called "sit around and play slow" :silly: . I think there is more skill in being able to play in a dynamic enviroment and adapt to other players' strategies.

Even if you'd like to race us to independence we would still whoop you by a couple hours. We have played the full game, we do it for a living. Rushing is one strategy and is the most easily implemented in a 90 minute multiplayer demo. There are a variety of other multiplayer strategies; but many can't be used in the multiplayer demo.

We'll gladly play you and a friend in a 2v2 or just a 1v1 if you'd like.

I am looking to play a decent learning and co-op multiplayer game whereby I want to take it slow and easy and maybe just play for a couple of hours to learn the dynamics.

I'd like to know the answer to that also. I have 2 teenage sons who play games whenever they can and if they could earn money for it I would be able to quit my job. :lol:

I dont find playing fast and defeating your enemies fun at Anno, if I want to do that I play Age of Empires III or somthing. Anno is more a bulding game in my eyes. Iv been playing Anno for a looong time now, and i never rushed a game.
