Free Trader problem

I begin with a continous play and start to build my colony, but somehow there arent free trader willing to come to my warehouse. I ran out of tools before I can make brick, I set the passive trade to purphase tools and max out the amount, but no trader camed for 20 minute. Did I do something wrong?

I only start with a warehouse with 40 foods, tools, and wood, so no ship.

Did you active the trader in option ?
Are you sure you have enough money to buy the stuff ?
Are you sure you put in green and take the circle to the top ?

I am sure the bottom 2 is not the problem, I have to check the 1st option though.

is there a middle island with a colony on it that belongs to him?

And the smith hasn't shown up in your village center to make free tools either I guess. Are there certain parameters that have to be met to warrant a visit from the blacksmith?

The Trader comes to my Island but I do not know how to trade with him.:confused:

Click on your warehouse, then click on the hand with the coin. Choose < for selling or > for buying (= out / in), click on the slot to select the goods required. Set the amount to be left/added using the ruler right from the goods symbol. Have enough money to buy. :wink:

And... play the tutorials. :wink:
