In the setup for continuous game there is an option to select "conditions for victory". What effect do these conditions have on the continuous game? If you meet the conditions does the continuous game end?

And regarding the Map#'s...I read somewhere that a Map# is given at the end of a game, so that you can enter that Map# at the beginning of a game to play with said Map. But a continuous game never ends to my knowledge.

How do you aquire the Map# and give an example of one if possible.

Afaik yes, when you meet a winning condition that game will end. I never set one myself but I read that here somewhere.

To get a map # press ESC, then click on End Game. That brings up the game stats menu thingy where the map number is listed. Sorry I dont have one to give you atm :(

That's a good question, I didn't know what to put for victory conditions as well. I'm on my first map (well, second the first didn't count).

I decided that I'll make my own victory conditions. At the moment that consists of making it to Aristocrats. Right now I'm friends with everyone, but I suppose I can do what I want assuming I don't get wiped out.

After that I think I'll make a Massive Island Empire and crush anyone that gets in my way. That's the plan anyways.

In 1602 it was usually

- build untill merchants
- kill everything that moves
- find best island and rebuild city to exorbitant proportions
- build funky palace with the three triumph arcs you got

rinse, repeat

and it never got boring :D

It's called continuous for a reason ;)
