Finding a treasure

How do you pick up a treasure, such as the inca artifact in the first 2 start scenario ? I couldn't find a scout.

You'll automatically pick treasures up if it's in the service-area of one of your tradingposts (such as markets, warehouses). I don't know if this is the same with these treasures, as I have not played the scenarios yet.

I haven't played the scenarios untill now.
But there are 3 possibilities to get a treasure:

1)if it's on an island: build a warehouse/marketplace and then a little man fetches the treasure :go:
2)if it's at the cultures: sail to them (with the goods they want for that treasure :wink: ) and the culture will speak to you :go:
3)if it's on the sea: just klick right on the treasure :go:


There is no scout anymore in 1701.

Now I know how to complete the trader assignment. Couldn't figure out how to retrieve the treasure on land...and it was even on one of my islands.:silly:

if it isn´t on one of your islands and another civ already has build a marketplace there. How do I get the treasure?

If there is another Civilisation on the island, you have still the possibility to fight and then reach the treasure... :wink:

If you can build a warehouse somewhere on the island, then you can use Bomber to destroy the opponents marketplace(s) and increase your area of influence by building your own marketplace(s) or capture the bombed marketplace with a squad of troops!
