Using the American Version...

Is there any way I can use the World Map Editor without editing the world map that's already there (i.e. creating one from scratch) using the American Version, which already has patch 1.03? Espescially without doing something drastic (like buying the European version).

I believe it would be quite useful not only for creating a more accurate World map, but also for creating ones of just Germany (giving sense to the election of the 'Emperor of Europe'), or Northern Italy; essentially places that were divided into city states...

Good point to raise. HMm. I wouldn't know a solution - I guess any <1.2 patches are not available. It is essential to have that version for the map editor, though, as I understood.
