window mode ????

anno 1701 is a superb game,
but why does not have to you it there not window mode fenétré of suggested.
owner of a 24" widescreen (1920*1200) I find damage to be able to play in a window (in 1680*1050 for example) while keeping an eye on “Windows live messenger” or other in the hope to see such a or other in the hope to see such a mode arriving in next with a patch.

Games such “The Settlers II 10th Anniversary” lay out this window mode

Dear Phoenix,

you can switch Anno 1701 to the windoed mode by using the engine.ini you will find in the game directory. The settings you need are:

<ScreenXSize>1280</> this sets the x size of the window
<ScreenYSize>800</> this sets the y size of the window
<ScreenFormat>1</> this sets the windowed mode

there I regulated in 1680*1050 mode window. as that I keep an eye on my software which functions behind. :biggrin:

that would be well if in next a patch, the window mode were proposed directly in the options. one can who more is imagined rather than L use of the arrows of the keyboard, add a "joystick" in overprinting of the chart (in top on the right)… a little as in “google earth”
