Hi folks.

Hi Elnacho,
Windows Vista has not been released so far and all drivers are at the stage of Beta. Due to that fact Anno 1701 had not been tested under Windows Vista and their might be problems if you try to run the game using a beta version of WV.

We are sorry that we canīt offer you a better solution than to play under Windows XP, but actually we canīt support a product that has not been released yet.

Corporate version is indeed released, but anyway this is the only issue im having.
And its not that big of a deal. Anno 1701 is the game that has the _least_ problems with vista, that I have tested so far.
So Kudos on the coding :) And thanks for replying.

I have posted an informational thread about Microsoft's Windows Vista edition here:

:hello:

What is the "Corporate version"?

There have been two versions of XP - "home" for most regular customers and "professional" with improved features, often used by companies. In addition to that there is at least one version only for companies of bigger size with special features. Maybe thatīs the corporate version.

Hi Elnacho,

I've got just a little request.

Can you please change the size of your pictures?
It goes beyond the scope of my monitor

That could be. However, I thought Elnacho was speaking of the new & horrible Windows Vista version rather than Windows XP (2000).

Yes, of course - but as he asked about the corporate version I thought it might be useful to know what product policy MS had used in the past - I havenīt seen your link until now ;)
