what's wrong with e...?, the same I can ask for r....
there are many places with E, so why not E?
there are many? All I know are in this thread at least twice, and many of them have E ending too...
There is lot more places which names start on consonants than vowels. And from vowels, E is the least frequent
the most frequent ending is A, in Czechia and Slovakia E is also very frequent ending, but there is not more than 20 places starting on E.
I don't think game is to put there ANY name, I always try to use that ending that enables the next in the row to have the widest possible scale or to offer some very rare ending.

Here is a list of places which caused hack of the thread for more than 2 days since october 2006:
Novaky (2 days)
Yosemite (2)
Aleksince (2)
Tarnovo (2)
Orlove (4)
Redbridge (4)
Xingning (2)
Nové Mesto nad Váhom (2)
Zamarovce (23!! - in this case I didn't want to continue just to see how long will it last untill someone else (than I) comes with E-ending name. If you look, in most of cases I was the one to continue after E-ending)
Rhein (3 - Christmas time)
Cicmany (5 - christmas time)
Smokovec (11)
Which ending was the one to hack the thread mostly?
E - 5 times
Y - twice
O, G, M, N, C - once
in number of days it is even more clear:
E: 35
C: 11
Y: 7
N: 3
O, M, G: 2
it definitely shows what letter hacks the thread mostly :go:
but ok, I will continue:
Esfahan
