I don't know how many folks are familiar with the old US television show "Gomer Pyle USMC" which was about a marine recruit that seemed to never do anything right and irritated the crap out of his drill sergeant with his hijinks.

Cork2, try to find reruns somewhere and watch them. Then you will understand why it is a scary thought to think that someone that looks like Gomer might be of like character.

Jim Neighbors is fine in real life, but acted like he was wierd, retarded, and annoying in his show. John Kerry (my opinion) is wierd, retarded, and annoying in real life, but acts fine in his show (news and campaigns). :D
