I have NO experiance with modding, but just have some simple ideas.
1. More marshal, princess. ect portraits.
2. If you are playing as Germany, or European a country and conquer an Arabian country, you should be able to have Arabian nobles in your court, the Same with vice versa.
So... those are my idea's, nothing much to change the gameplay.
those are interesting ideas, though with actual patch 1.03 yet impossible.
But the next patch promisses to make the game more modding friendly so we will see

What about some rediculous amount of knights? 25 or 30? A CAPITAL province? Wars are same every startup, same with relations, and buildings? Like when I was playing as Poland at war with Kiev (the shame, I know) let it be that way all the time? Also, if I had a palisade built in Krakow, keep it like that every new game?
The ultimate idea though: If you want a diplomacy mod, try keeping everyone at peace for every new game. I don't like being at war the second I see my beautiful land before me. Or at least not with Kiev! (Kinda got a crush on a Cossack girl... :love2: )
I love this little guy: :puke: Until he pukes! Don't worry son, daddy will clean it...
Last word of peace: if the knights don't get upped, just up all units. It'll be more fun that way.

I don't know about having that many knights.
I always thought that one of the greatest ideas in this game was to limit the player to a few knights.
It gives a fighting chance to smaller kingdoms.

I don't think that 9 knights is the greatest ideas of the game but yet it wasn't done and honestly it wasn't a purpouse of our modding to add number of knights (making the game easier). Instead of that we tried to make th egame harder.
Capital province is among patch suggestions. Pre-defined war between nations is possible. In map/europe/map/kingdoms;1000.ini you can set up if a countryis vasal of another country or if they are at war.
It works (I tried only wars) in Holy Rome mod, if you start in 1200 you can see that in EVERY game Lombardy is at war with Holy Roman Empire and Prussia with Teutonic order
On the other hand, to pre-define stable peace perhaps isn't that possible, but you can try it

What about better faction relationships? Overall.
What do you mean by better relationships between factions?

Gentlemen, what about creating epic campaign multiplayer mode. Or is it imposible. If the game supports any built-in script language it should not be a problem.
Welcome to the forums :hello:
but do you think such think could be modded?
The developers say it's too complicated for the game, how could one do it without source code?
but yes, multiplayer campaign on europe or regional map is one of the very frequent requests for the patch/expansion or KoH 2

Well. I can not see any difficulties about it. I am programmer and i used to write network applications. All you have to do is to make server and client functions. And if server is started then instead of generating comands for one player (as it is when you start single player campaign) it also sends generated comands for all clients (for example using wsockets). IMO The only difficulty is that the computer witch would be a server must be little more powerfull then it is neded for single playing. And I think that developers just want to take more money from us for making "multiplayer edition" as add-on, for example.

If you think it's that simple: Do it. We're waiting.

Yes, if you think it's easy :go:
You could become KoH saviour

And Yet I repeat: All they want to do is to get more money for the game. It is all commercial... The best they can do is to make add-on CD with multiplayer support. And I can understand it. Each one earns his own money as he can. But what I can not understand is what does it take so long to do it?
