View Full Version : Getting soldiers on ships
Hi there, I can't seem to get my soldiers on a ship to move them to other islands. Can someone please help me with that?
Thanks
Ubi

Good one! :gogo:
I just have to modify it to set the background to see-through, I don't have a graphic program on my PC that allows me to save transparent gifs.

Come on, don't be so hard to a new member. If everyone uses Google and the board search, we would have nothing to post.
@ubi77: Just move your ship close to the shore, select your soldiers, hold Ctrl and click on your ship.
And welcome to the board! :halloha:

I gave them the answers, though, didn't I? Isn't the answer right there in every link I posted? :xmas_biggrin:
@RoadRunner, don't we encourage using the search function first? Isn't that what it states in the agreement we have to accept when we become members? To use the search function first to see if the question has been asked before, prior to asking.

Sure...
But honestly speaking, I am too lazy to search for the links as you did.
And since Dobber already gave the answer I had nothing to add. But it was too tempting a situation to let it pass without that emoticon...
Anyways, I think ubi77 knows we didn't mean anything bad, right?

I don't know, maybe! ubi77 hasn't been back to check the answer yet! Posted, signed off and hasn't been back, unless it was without signing in.
Oh, come on! He came here to ask a question, I guess he found the answer and is now happily attacking his opponents islands.
Does anyone still keep a count of the number of times this question has been asked? There was a time when no sooner had the question dropped off the first page of the (old) forum, than it was asked again. It is a genuinely confusing feature, and a bit of a lesson in how not to design a game tutorial. What amazes me is that people are still asking: It means that they are still playing Anno 1602 for the first time, almost a decade after it was first released. Not too many games achieve that.

Here is the image with transparent background. Made with Irvan View (www.irfanview.com).
That's awesome! Thanks a lot!
I downloaded the program too, I have a few more of the same kind (different text of course). I've been wanting to upload them to my forum for ages but I've always been to lazy to get it done at university.
