The qualifications for future Colosseum Olympics are going to a little different than they were for the Inaugural session.

1) For an event(thread) to be qualified for medal presentaion it must have at least 5 participants!Even though a thread may have 300 posts for the month, if it has less than 5 participants it will not be considered for medals!
2) For an event(thread) to be qualified for medal presentation it must have been in existence by the 5th day of the current session.New game threads started after the 5th day of the month will be treated as exhibition events for that session.
3) For an event(thread) to be qualified for medal presentation it must have at least 15 posts for the session.

The maniacal rating is determined by the value of the overall medal count with the value ratings of the medals being Gold=4, Silver=3, Bronze=2.
It is possible for someone to not win a Gold medal but still become the CHAMPION. Example being, one person participates in 20 events and wins 20 Gold medals(maniacal rating of 80), and another person participates in 41 events and wins 41 Bronze medals(maniacal rating of 82). The Bronze medal winner edges out the Gold medal winner in the maniacal rating 82-80. And in my opinion the right person would be receiving the title of CHAMPION, because of their participation in a greater number of threads.

There could be in addition to the individual medal presentations, a team competition if enough people are interested. The number of people per team/clan can be determined once we decide if we want to add that aspect to the competition. I think this could add to competitive nature.
