Problem with the serial

Hello! I'm french and I have just bought Anno 1701 A.D! I completed the installation but when I want to type the serial code it doesn't work. I don't understand where is the problem.
Would you mind help me please??

have a real close look to the serial number
check for similar things like
O and 0
5 and S
and some of these things

u and v
they are very similar.
