Greetings! im new! :hello:

And iv yust got the game! ( nice ) well it rocks other than.. well im ashamed of saying this but.. i cant seem to get a good income.. or a income for that matter.. infact my highest income was 99 ... darn.. what do i do to get a high income??

and the other question is, in playground you can only build one castle! how do you make them huge castles you do on screenshots? :eek:

First of all, welcome!

To get a good income you first of all need to find the balance between the needs for your people and the things that you need. (example: wood for building and fisherman for food)

Some other people explained (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?t=14107) it here about food. And that will mostly be your first grounds for the food production. Starting with around 10 to 20 houses. Eventually a church, 2 Sheep farms+Weaver and in the time buying some wood/food/tools/cloth from the foreign culture's and the free trader should really give a fast and efficient boost eventually. Would be nice to keep building houses until a point they ask for a village center.

My most valued tip would be to turn off the automaticly supply of goods to your houses. (Click a house --> icon in the right corner)

To make more money, you should build more houses. At least 50 or 70 houses :go:
If you want to be on the secure side, build 100 :go:
And look for your taxes. They should always be in light green. Sometimes in orange, when your houses are full. (means: when you have settlers and all settler houses are full, raise the taxes to orange)

Playground is useless for anything other than practicing placement of buildings!

The huge castles/palaces you see in screenshots, you have to build a large community of Aristocrats in order to build huge castles/palaces!

When we are new to the game, I found, as I did it, that starting with a practice is a fairly good way to begin.
A small world, medium islands, then just the queen, the pirates and the civilisations. No worries (at least not yet) about the computer players.
You concentrate on getting use to everything, observing the results of your actions. Light fights with the pirates, and later, when you reach the aristocrats level, just refuse to pay back the queen, and you'll practice a war at sea and possibly on land.
When you've done all that, then you feel ready to play and beat them all.
