View Full Version : Problems with cocoa pickup.

Do you guys mind if I hijack this thread? :)

I'm having a problem with the same type of production as the OP. I have 1 island that is producing cocoa and nothing else yet I can't get the stuff to show up in my warehouse as a raw material to export it to another island. All I get is the cocoa building's internal warehouse is full...

The icons for the cocoa building that would seem to allow for local delivery are greyed out. I have 4 of them producing cocoa and they are attached to the warehouse via a road.

I've tried cutting the road connection and that didn't work. I tried building another warehouse right ontop of the cocoa production and that didn't work.

Can anyone help? Thanks :go:

hmm not sure how I started my own thread but sorry about that I thought I posted in another one similar to mine after searching around.

Anyway I figured out the problem. I built a new production building and linked it directly to the warehouse via a road and from there I was able to select the cart icon from within the building. The raw material started flowing right to the warehouse and I was able to transport it to another island to complete the production chain.

I'm going to add the fact that you can gather 'raw' materials by simply connecting a road from the source 'building' to a warehouse without going through the chain.

In your case, just connect a road to the cocoa 'building' then to a road connected to a warehouse.:biggrin: This will give you all 'raw' cocoa only.

The honey plantation works the same way. The beef and the others do too.

Yeah as Dobber pointed out above that is indeed how I got it to work :)

Having it connected to the existing infastructure didn't work for me....

HI,

I have the same problem with those goods that don't get collected. I'm playing the third scenario where you must help your cousin Hendrik Jorgenson to rebuild the city. I have 2 cattle farms where the goods aren't being collected. I've tried to connect the road to another road like you said in the first tread but it didn't work..

Welcome to the forum, Roberto Hawk! :halloha:

The road you connect to must also connect to the market whose area of influence covers the farms. Click on your markets to see which circle of influence the farm buildings reside in, then make sure your road network leads from that market to the farms. That road network should all fall in the markets circle of influence as well.
