black flickering

dear fellow players,

i'm having some rather annoying graphical problems. Constantly im seeying flickering black triangles, mostly in trees and mountains. I tried changing the settings but this doenst have any effect. For the rest the game is running smoothly. But its just *** annoying

if anyone got a suggestion?

3 Ghz Pentium
256 MB ATI X850XT (latest drivers)
1 Ghz RAM

Check your fans they may dirty, especially the video card fan.

i just checked but the card is just 1 month old. and as i expected it was still clean...my temp is 42 C on my graphic card.

so i guess that is not it...but thanks for the reply

Have you went into the Catalyst control center and switched AA and AF to application controlled? That has helped some folks!

Also some people using ATI cards have fixed problems with graphics by downgrading their drivers to an earlier version. Don't know if that would help! I will try to find one of the threads that offered that solution and see which Catalyst version they used!
