searching my memory... Select a random island, then press ALT+L or it may be CTRL+L, now your list of islands should appear. If not search it with your explorer.
When you find the island you want to use, rightclick on it an click "insert"!
Sir Henry's new "Island Explorer" can be a great help, check in the Annopool http://www.annopool.de/ (annopool.)! You'll find it in the "urtilities" sector!
After starting the editor, place a random island as Robbie47 stated, then click on the island and press "SHIFT+L", a search window will open, browse to find the island you want, select it and click open and it will appear in place of the random island.
Sir Henry's Island Explorer is only useful for searching islands to edit using Sir Henry's Island Editor! It does not interface with the 1602 scenario editor.
Thanks everyone! After having a three day internet-out-of-service period I eventually figured it out on my own, but thank you very much for the help!
