If demo works, will game work?

Yeah, reading these topics here about how everyones computer isn't powerful enoguh got me thinking.. If I have the demo, and it runs smooth and all (with the ocean settings to a minimum), will the game run? Because I'm useing a brand new comp. Specs are:

Intel Viiv
D 925 Processor featering two processing cores
1024 MB of RAM
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950

And... That is all that I can figure out from the sticker on the front. It has Win XP..

I will also state that the demo is perfectally fine.

If you run dxdiag.exe you will find everything you need to know about your PC, btw

If the Demo is fine, then the game is/should also be fine :go:


But: in the later game, you can build much bigger citys than in the Demo and then it is possible (or sure) that it will run a bit slower. (slower=bucking; jerking; judder. Sorry, but i couldn't find a real translation for my german sentence. I hope you will understand it)


But all in all: If you can play the Demo and you think it's fine*, you can play the game :go:


*some people think 50fps are not fine and some think even 10 are ok

To be honest: I've never checked my fps :angel:

I want to do it, but i always forget to start the programm, before i start Anno :silly:
But i think my fps are not very high. But for me it's still fine.


You can use fraps.

There is a free version. It's a bit older. The version is 1.9d
And there is also a new version. But all the new versions are only trial versions. The 1.9d was the last completly free version.

Ok, Thanks Flo. And I can understand you perfectally! Whenever I run N64 ROMS (emulated games on computer), cometimes the fps goes from the normal 59-60 to 20.
