error 577 after running patch 1.01

Hi All,

I have done the patch 1.01 for AD 1701 and that went all fine (at least I think so) but whenI wanted to start the game it said error 577 and made me quit.

I am using windows xp pro 64 and vista 64 ( I have tried the same thing on both versions) on a AMD 3500 Mhz, 1 Gb DRR ram, ATI X850 and Creative labs Audigy soundcard.

anyone has a clue ?

The game wasn't written for 64 bit.
