Taking screenshots

I know this has to have been discussed before, but I tried the search function and gave up after a bit. But what is the prescribed method of acquiring screenshots in KoH?

hm, i always use "print screen" button... :)

1. Open the program "paint"

2. Run the game

3. Press "print screen"

4. Shift alt to paint

5. Paste into paint and save

6. Shift alt to KoH to continue

Thanks, I had been trying the "print screen", but then couldn't find a file anywhere. I guess now I know why, it just prints it to the clipboard! :go:

There is a little program (free) called "Fraps".It can make screen shots , videos and show the FPS.Also the programm is like >1MB and you may make it to start automatic.

Thanks, I had heard it talked about in the 1701 forum being used to check frames per second, but I didn't know it worked as screen capture as well! :go:

I highly recommend this Ultima Online Screenshot Utility: http://www.hh.iij4u.or.jp/~kmatuoka/uosu/indexe.html

I just start it up, then start KOH ... when I want to take a screenshot, I just hit "Print Screen" ... the program automatically takes a screenshot, names it, and saves it ... I can take about 115 screenshots before having to close and restart the utility.

I haven't tried the FRAPS program, but UOSU is much better than pasting and saving with Paint.

Thanks Lord_Nick, I may give them both a try and see which I like best! I don't think I would like the stop and paste method either!
