From the looks of what you have, but can't tell withoug your DxDiag, only one thing I can think of. You say you updated the video drivers, BUT to which version? If the 93.71s BIG mistake! Check out This Thread (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?t=15850) and you'll see what you should have. My Best!

you say in your thread: The earlier DX7-compliant cards were fine for many other games, but this game and many other new games are more demanding. So, let me give some fair warning. The MX series cards (yes even those that say they are GeForce4s), and truly only GeForce2s. The reason for this is quite simple. The GeForce MX cards older and newer use the same basic hardware and engines. So, for those of you with MX cards, the game won't, I'm sorry to say.
my video card is: geforce 4 MX 440 with AGP8X
so mine won't work!?
please reply someone!

Yes, I did say that. However, KoH is an older game, and your card does meet the minimums. The problem is your drivers with that card. They are stable while idle, but NOT with anything executed. I tested them myself as I've tested every nVidia-approved version since the 61.77s. What you need are any of the three I listed in that post. The reason for noting the cards is Anno 1701 and all other games that have come out of late last year, you card won't work with. That was a preliminary warning, not for this game specifically. Drivers are what needs to be taken care of or it won't work at least properly.
I will edit to ammend that post since you did not understand why I noted about the cards and if they will work with this game versus newer games.
Sincerely,
Phil
