Well when I first installed the game, before I started it I updated it with the patch, like any good respecting player should do. But when I booted up the game, It said the registeration fiel was missing. So I just reinstall the game and then boot it BEFORE I patch. It then asked for the seiral number. Then I patched and it worked fine.

Please change it so that after it is patched, it askes you for the seiral number. If someone doesn't think about reinstalling the game, they can be in big trouble!

wkw427, you should always complete installation of the game before patching it. Installation is not complete until the copy protect validates the game through the registration process upon starting the game for the first time.

And no patch should ever require you to re-enter your serial number. People don't want to have enter their serial number every time they patch a game! Most people enter their serial numbers and try the game before they run a patch.

You will probably next be coming to the forum and asking why does the autostart menu show "install" instead of "play" when I insert my DVD to start the game. That is a known issue that has been discussed at length here on the forum as well, there is a problem with the patch in that it removes the USA components in the registry and changes them to ENG which is the language key for the UK version and the DVD then does not recognize the game has been installed. To play with the patch installed, you will alway have to play from the desktop icon! :go:
No fix has been introduced as of yet!

Well I don't have autostart enabled, because every time I turned o nmy external DVD drives I would get like 3 autostarts..

And this is the first game that needed to be run before patched. Really all my other games don't need it.. Probably because they are ancient.. :)
