Finding my buildings?

Just bought the game, so excuse my simple questions, please. Maybe I missed this, but in other games similar to 1701 AD it is easy to find all of the buildings of a particular type that I have built. I only see a button for showing my warehouses. Also, I get a lot of msgs in the game telling me my warehouse (or *internal* warehouse) is full and production in a particular bldg has stopped. Is building another marketplace the only way to remedy this? Thanks.

Each building can hold a small amount of goods that are waiting for the market wagon to be picked up. For instance, the lumberjack can have 5t of wood stored for the wagons to pick it up. When all 5t are full, the lujmberjack stops working untill the cartmen pick the wood up.

If the ewarhouse is full of wood, then the wagons won't come to get the wood, so both the wearhouse and lumberjacks are full. Untill some wood gets dols/used/moved, the lumberjack won't work.

Whenever the news thigny says the building stops working, just click on it and you will zoom to that building.

Also, when you click on a building, under the building's icon on the right it will tell you how many of that type of building you have on that particular island.

OK, thanks to both of you... Is there a way of telling if your main warehouse is at or nearing capacity (or am I looking at this in the wrong way - I mean, how do you know when to build another marketplace)? Also, I noticed other games in this series have a guide or hints up at 'Gamefaq.com' but none for 1701 yet. Anyone know of a good source of hints and tips (other than this board, of course) for the beginner? There is no strategy guide, right? Thanks again.

To find the % of storage being used by the warehouse, just click on it. If you were buying/selling from there, then click the button on the top that appears on the menu. Now a large interface with pictures of things will pop up. If they are colored in, thay are in store. You can see how much you have compared to the total island wide storage by looking at the bar on the right of the piocture. The higher the bar, the closer you are to reaching full capisity.

If you haven't red it already, here's (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?t=12620) an excellent guide to start out with. Perhaps it doesn't talk that much out expanding your warehouse, but it does help you get hang of the game.
