marrying the king?

In my last game the King of Norway asked to marry by princess...it seems when I try to marry a princess to an old king who has no son's I don't have that option. Can I marry my princess to a King who is already installed as the ruler and not a prince?

Usually the King will take a noblewoman for his bride if he is not married by a certain age. The AI king that was requesting was probably a fairly youn King. If you are trying to marry off a pricess to a King with no son's and get a message there is no-one to marry, then the King is already married, he just didn't produce any children.
If a King is not married you can marry off your princess to him if you find favor in his eyes!
