Editor: How to put rivers and roads on map?

I played around a little with editor, but I didn't find a way to put rivers and roads on map. Since there are roads and rivers on europe map presumable they are included. There is a button called "rivers", but if I hit this button, nothing happens. How putting the rivers and roads will work? Anyone knows this?

:hello: Solution

1) click at the rivers icon
2) press F10 key
3) double click on a place where you want the river's spring
4) use left mouse click to lead the river
5) Important!! swith the feature off once the river is ended by clicking on some other icon of feature, otherwise the river will continue

I tried using Strg, Shift, Alt etc.in different combinations, but nothing worked. Now I'm still hoping, someone will recover how to place/replace roads.

EDIT: It sems to work one similar way with pressing F8 instead of F10. But I didn't figure out how to remove a river and how to lay a big river.
