Britain Map/Scenario

I'm planing do make a map with several british/english kingdoms for KoH. The editor part is running fine and finished with the very first map so far. Well, there is room only for 51 provinces on this "gigantic" map (KoH europe map has 168), so I think, I have to make a new bigger map. (Until yesterday I didn't even know if it is possible making a bigger than "gigant" map.) However, there is still a lot to do in textfiles (towns, events, kings, kingdoms for 1000 + 1200, and so on).

My main problem is the editing of political maps and intro maps. Like I wrote in the other tread, I can't get them working. :sick: Okay, I was not trying it for THIS map now, but I failed in making this maps for my edited europe map. I really hope, there will be a solution as fast as possible.

What is suggested for this mod:
- playing Western Kingdoms only :biggrin:
- in first version there will be probably only one starting era (800 ad)
- some Events will (hopefully) allow to unite England, Wales, Scotland and Eire.

- Ma be the mod once can be merged with HARD-Mod or Rome (actually I don't know, becouse the map will have own events and different religions and so on.)

Religion:
- there will be no islamic realm - at least I hope, this is possible
- orthodox will changed to irish church, if I find out how to edit
- christian is roman catholic here
- pagan is still present

Any Comments? Suggestions?

Just try and release it soon, if nothing else just release the first version with less features then planned for the finished.

This idea is as simple as it is awesome. I am really looking forward to this mod.

Since it seems, there will be a solution for editing political map soon, I realy hope it will be possible to finish this mod. Actually there are still lots of things to do, but I allready edited some textfiles since my last post.

One question: I own the Geman version, and I would like to change some text files (for example replacing "Papst" with "Erzbischof" / "Pope" with "Archbishop"). I can change German texts, but I couldn't find the correspondenting english texts - so i can't edit them. Will somebody be so kind to to send me english text? (I don't want to install KoH in english.) Or is there any other soution?

But before that I want to know... will BSS or sunflower mind, if someone send me such game files?

this looks great.
as a suggestion, which you've probably already thought of, i think this mod would have to feature some type of default setting that normandy invades, around 1066 of course. how it is settled would have to be played out.
