Mystery Spot

Hi all,

I have a situation with one of my maps that's baffling.

I've got what appears to be a "mystery spot." It's located among houses that surround a Town Center. While busy with other things, I noticed the house that previously sat on this lot was gone. I've had some fires, so I assumed the house may have burned down. I went to re-build and couldn't. I then noticed this lot has a small, dark rectangular section directly adjacent to the Town Center. I tried to clear the lot with demolition, but I get a red circle with a slash through it when trying to demolish the dark rectangle.

Hmmm...:scratch:

I then proceeded to rip out and re-build the Town Center and all the surrounding houses. The "mystery spot" remains. I suppose it's just a glitch, but I was wondering if anyone had seen this type of the thing.

It is an area not covered by the area of influence of market places. You need to build a market place closer in that will include that spot within it's circle of coverage!

And to explain a little further: if there really has been a house on that spot, you must have been "moving" at least one of your market-/warehouses. As soon as a house is not in the influence area of a market-/warehouse anymore, it starts degrading until it is destroyed.
