View Full Version : Fix the political view
I don't see why the feature to check for the availability of certain resources, buildings, and military units was removed with the new patch. It was very helpful to have it and it saved a lot of time when the empire became bigger and one needs to follow what advanced buildings are available and where... now its a tedious task.
I nkow this issue has been addressed several times in different topics, but I think it deserves more attention. It should not be a great pain to bring it back, even without an official patch, somebody could make a mod for it...
I know this way it is a bit more realistic and maybe difficult, but now the players have to use pencil in order to give their optimal effort, which is... well... medieval...
At least give is the reason why it was removed, maybe there is reason that I cant see in all this.

I guess this is not wanted, so it's "only" a bug. But I support your demand, its a bit annoying to find places for an university/cathedral or special units at the moment...
If you're planning to become acive in future, you can ask to be put into the active user group, 4zzy; good to see a long-member return!
This bug is one for the next patch, indeed. Not that I plan my conquests so much on the province features these days - I'm busy managing threats of war and invasions of my land.
But still, I'd like to see which units can be taken where and what AI's have a chance of building a Grand Building. A 'yea' from me.

Ok, I admit being a weirdo/psycho, but I temporarily stopped playing only because of this little bug. I unsuccessfully tried to mod it, and I'm waiting for a mod or hotfix or patch or smthing... :scratch:
Thank you for the welcoming Doux, I've been following the forums from time to time and playng the best mods, but I didn't bother to write.
As for the bug itself, I thought the feature was intentionally removed because players would simply conquer provinces with the desired features which are far over seas for example. This is not realistic and it is a kind of an exploit, but it will happen with or without this "bug", because sometimes it is the only way to get your economy "on the track".
Has there been some official statement by Frujin regarding this big?
@Meldokios
I thought I was a weirdo/psycho (: because I still play the game with this annoying bug, but as some would say "different people, different ideals" :biggrin:

you made no point here, you will do the same anyway, yust doing it will be annoying and take time
it must be a bug
I voted for.
If anything, you should definitely be able to see your kingdom's resources and structures. This allows the building and maintenance of your kingdom to be fluid and intuitive.
As far as seeing other kingdom's resources, perhaps a spy should be required.
