Hello, I waited to buy and play this game until it would be published in Dutch. Although, now I bought a new laptop, I couldn't wait anymore.
The laptop is a IntelCore 2 Dual T5600 1,83 GHz, 2GB ram, GeForce Go 7600 512 kB; O.S. = Windows Vista. I head a lot of excellent comments about the beautifull graphics in the game. First time I started up the game i got already a disillusion though the sea was coloring from blue to green. Before I get experimenting with the graphical options I would first like to know :
1°) What is the maximum graphical resolution I can get with my system (low - medium - high - very high ?)
2°) What options must I certainly use to get the graphics as good as possible.
3°) Can anyone show a screenshot with all graphics on max.

thx

Hey teecee and welcome at the board! :halloha:

Vista indeed causes some problems with displaying the colours.

But many of the Community members already solved these problems...
Anyone here?

Try to deaktivate "Shadows" for your Water-Problem. That should
solve the problem.

About the graphical Resolution - i would try "medium". But if
the game runs smoothly, you can go one step higher and try
the next step as long as the game runs good for you.

No GeForce Go card to this point supports Vista. Even nVidia does not have drivers that support any system except 2000/XP for laptops, so it will be an experiment to get what you desire. You will need to go to the nVidia site to get the best drivers, but as I've said, until the GeForce Go 8000-series cards become a reality, Vista will not be officially supported for laptops. So, all I can say is good luck, but for more we'd need the DxDiag off that laptop to see what else to do.

Aslo to note. Vista comes with DX10 pre-intalled, so many have had success also installing one of the later DX9 programs as well as this helps with the card compatibility as long as you have the proper video drivers also.

Sincerely,
Phil
