I like Stepen King and John Grisham books!

Short time ago I read "The longest Day" by Cornelius Ryan, it's about the D-Day in the Normandy. And at the moment I read "A Bridge too far"(English title), about the fight about the bridge of Arnheim, also during the 2. WW.
The first one is great, the second I just began, I will write how it was.

PS: Forgot the Lord of the Rings books, they are great too!

There are many, but one book is always above others: The Lord of the Rings. ;)

i have never gotten the chance to read Lord of the Rings and probably won't :nono: Only because i've seen the movies and I've read books similiar to his, which would throw everything i read off :silly: . Tom clancy, he is too mainstream for me, plus I am not really into that government and plot stuff.

Tolkiens books (not only LotR) (@fallen_saint, the movie is not like the book)
The Count of Monte Cristo - the first real psichological book I've read

I finished "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" a week ago and I find it interesting, too.
Now I'm reading Dante Alligieris "Inferno".

I'm sure I'm forgetting some other books I like, so I may add some later.

yea, i know the books are probably great, i dont think i have the heart to read them through when i already know the ending, it discourages me from touching those books. i do recommend them to others though hehe

LotR, ofcourse, and Star Trek books.
But my absolute favourite is a Lord of the Rings parody by D. C. Kelly and H. N. Beard. It's German name is "Herr der Augenringe", don't know the English title, sorry. But it is just unbelievable great!!!! Really!!!! In every line at least one gag which is so funny that you'd laugh your butt off!!! And it has so many insider-jokes for LotR-fans! My favourite!

I want to read dante's inferno.

Inferno? Sorry, I tought it was Hell!

btw Adolf, have you watched the Russian parody of the movies LotR? It's the original movie with changed Russian audio. First part is "Bratva i koltso" (I can't translate it). There, when Frodo (Fiodr) wakes up Agent Smith tells him "Ok, Fiodr, now you know kung-fu". When Gandalf fights Diablo you can enjoy the music of Rammstein etc. It's nice!
