I have noticed that the shadows in this game behave strangely. When the camera is rotated, the positions of the shadows change direction with the rotation of the camera. It seems that not only my view of the island changes, but the actual position of the light source (the sun) rotates as well. It seems wierd to me.
Is this how the shadows were intended to function? Is my somewhat limited knowledge of astronomy and physics failing me in some way?
If anyone can shed some light on this topic (sorry, I couldn't resist) I would be grateful.

OK, after further inspection it appears I explained this completely wrong.
When you rotate the camera, the light source that casts the shadows remains FIXED. I guess I am expecting the the light source to ROTATE with the camera as it represents the sun. It seems I am actually rotating the island as opposed to my point of view.
I know i'm not explaining this very well. If anyone has any idea what i'm talking about please respond. It's really no big deal, but it just seems odd to me.
