Hi,
I have dual monitors, my main monitor is a 22" widescreen monitor and thats what I play Anno 1701 on, the secondary monitor is a 19" square type monitor.

My problem is that when I am playing the game, and I push my mouse to the right edge of the screen the mouse leaves the game and goes onto my secondary monitor, thus making the right push to scroll the screen inoperable.

Other than the arrow keys on the keyboard, is there another way that I can use the mouse to scroll the screen to the right?

Thanks,

Flo

Hi City Builder,

I have used dual monitors for ages now, and when I play games I just disable the secondary monitor.

Right click on your desktop and choose properties. In one of the tabs there you can choose whether you want your desktop to flow onto the second monitor or not.

Just put it back again when you're doing something else.

I guess it's a bit of a pain but it's the only way that I know. Maybe oneday games will do this automatically for us, or even better, they will be made for dual monitors.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Thats what I was doing but was hoping for a different solution. Though I have read the message by FLO and am now using the MouseJail program to contain the mouse and sure enough in Anno 1701 it works perfectly. While it doesnt work with all of my games, it is working with Anno 1701.
