In the beginning of multiplayer games it is nice to know if guests of honour are participating or not. Will the smith come soon or will I be annihilated by Tetonka first? When the map is not revealed it is also good to know which foreign cultures are in the game. Was it the Asian or the Indians who were left out?
The winning conditions are found in the logbook but I cannot find the other game settings. Please tell me where to find the complete game settings or put it in patch 1.03.

strange with a lot of gold medals and no knowing where the settings are. well when you start a new game . you set the settings. like if you will use the pirates or not and so on. even the final goal you can set like you want.

This is the multiplayer part of the community board, Boldie. When we begin a multiplayer game somebody else has chosen the settings. Before the game begins the settings are visible. When the game has started all settings are not visible.
You have just started your fourth game that day. The first one ended when the game host left after half an hour because he or she did not have more time. Then the three of you were left in three isolated worlds. The second and third one ended with a connection problem and some of the other players were suddenly gone. The fourth game is without revealed map of course. You have 15 pioneer houses and want to know if the guests of honour are participating in this game and if you should go and find the Indians and buy some bricks.
Everybody likes to use different settings, probably in order to get an advantage over the other players. So now you have four different game settings in your head and if you remember wrong you simple lose the game.
The question is: Is it possible to see all the game settings when the game has started?
If not: Please add that facility in the next patch.

It is not clear from your description if all the players who join a multiplayer game have to be connected with it before it begins so they can see the game settings even if they can not change them -- or if they can somehow join the game while it is in progress.
BladJim, you obviously do no not play multiplayer games so your comments are not of interest to anyone.
I would like to hear from players who actually play the multiplayer game.

It just seems to me that your explanation of why that is so critical is not very compelling.
No of course not. You do not play multiplayer games and have no idea of the many problems in that area.
Let us stop this BaldJim, I do not want another boring discussion with you. Find a subject you know something about and share your wisdom.
